AN OVERGROWN, UNUSED FRONTAGE.
Dense shrubs and soil filled the area beside the entrance, with the existing stonework restricting vehicle access from the road.

A steep overgrown garden area carefully cleared and formed into a practical off-street parking space, including safe working around an unexpected gas service and a new white access marking.
The original frontage contained dense shrubs, soil and an older wall panel on a steep site beside the property entrance. GMGB removed the vegetation and unsuitable material, opened up the area and adapted the formation after an unidentified gas service was encountered during excavation.

Dense shrubs and soil filled the area beside the entrance, with the existing stonework restricting vehicle access from the road.

Mechanical excavation was used to clear the frontage and remove the old material, creating room to assess the levels and form the new parking space.

An unidentified gas service was encountered during excavation. The work and gradients were adjusted so the service could be protected while the new space was still delivered safely.

The cleared area was prepared into a stable parking formation between the existing stone boundaries and property access.

The completed parking area uses a clean decorative stone finish within defined edges and a paved threshold at the road. A fresh white access marking was applied to complete the space.
