THE PROJECT

THE FRONT AND SIDE
REWORKED TOGETHER.

The original property had an older tarmac driveway bordered by lawn, planted areas and established trees. GMGB removed the trees and unwanted garden material, cleared the working areas and formed a more practical layout across the frontage and side path.

Original Caldercruix driveway bordered by lawn before work
01 / BEFORE

AN OLDER DRIVEWAY WITH LIMITED SPACE.

The existing tarmac was surrounded by grass and planting, leaving less usable hardstanding across the front of the property.

02 / ORIGINAL GARDEN

TREES AND LAWN TO BE CLEARED.

The established tree and surrounding garden area had to be removed carefully before the new footprint could be prepared.

03 / CLEARANCE & EXCAVATION

OPENED UP FOR THE NEW LAYOUT.

After the tree and vegetation were removed, the ground was stripped and excavated to create a clean working area for the rebuilt frontage.

Side access strip prepared beside the Caldercruix house
04 / SIDE PREPARATION

THE NARROW ACCESS RENEWED TOO.

The side strip was cleared and prepared as part of the same job so the new surface could continue neatly around the property.

THE RESULT

A CLEANER, WIDER TARMAC FINISH.
